School Projects

Pre - Production Class

In Pre-Production I learned an overview of the production process, focusing on pre-production planning. I learned how to acquire and develop a property, the basics of production financing, budgeting, scheduling, production, and set management. In addition to the role and responsibilities of jobs relating to film and television production, and the basic skills needed to perform those functions.

This is my final project where we had to create a Top Sheet for a pretend film

Production Class

In Production class, I built upon the skills learned in the pre-production course, learning the practical skillset required to produce professional content relevant to today's industry. I explored multiple examples of production including narrative film and television, non-fiction film, and digital marketing content.

This project is a highlight reel of the archways around TCU campus

Post Production class

In Post Production class I got to work with AVID and Final Cut Studio non-linear editing software. I got to edit commercials, narrative films, and take projects through the on-line process of color correction, special effects, and exporting the project to its final distribution form.

I edited pre-film shots of a horror scene, focusing on continuity and using foley, which I had previously recorded.

Using a pre-film music video of a cover of the song “Apologize” by Coldplay, I constructed a narrative that related to the song.

I edited pre-film shots of the show Gunsmoke, focusing on continuity and sound effects.

Schieffer Associates

Schieffer Associates gave me the ability to analyze, establish, and execute external and internal communication goals, strategies, and tactics for a client. My team used research, discussion, peer evaluation, and instructor assessment to produce creative and effective solutions to marketing and promotion challenges. We got to work with the Bob Schieffer College of Communication and other TCU academic units and organizations as their clients.

My team worked on three episodes for the Bob Schieffer College of Communications Timeline. I specifically worked on the episode about the creation of the Moudy Building which houses the College of Communications. I was able to interview important figures of the college and learn the details of what goes into making a podcast episode.

Work Study: VIDEO ASSISTANT AND VIDEOGRAPHER

I have worked as a video assistant and videographer for Technical Services at Texas Christian University for 4 years. I record lectures, guest speakers, and professor interviews for different departments around TCU. I also edit the videos for the departments using Adobe Premiere Pro.

Using Adobe Premiere Pro, I create and edited an informational video about the user guide to Newline TruTouch (an interactive touch display)
